Another Onyx Medal Down!

I got a group of people together last night for an Insane run of Horde Mode. Was not too bad, only having to repeat the boss waves once or twice. This unlocked the Onyx "For The Horde" Medal. I also did a few games of Beast Mode (if you look at the stat sheet, you can tell that's what I played the most yesterday). I have decided that is the section I am going to try and accomplish first, while idle boosting Warzone games.

Problem Fixed

After an hour, my ribbon for socialite showed up. Thank God. I updated the spreadsheet today, I am going to be doing a lot of work on Beast Mode tonight. My goal is to get at least 100 more Kantus Revives.

War Supporter Medal Glitched?

I have tried and tried to get this, but its just not progressing for me. I just cant get credit for playing boom snipes for whatever reason. If I can't get an answer from Epic, I just might have to quit Seriously 3.0. A Sad Day for sure.

Seriously Grinding....

With nothing much to report, I just wanted to let everyone know that I have not given up, and I am still boosting the Warzone and Skunker Medals as wee speak. I also had a group of 4 today so we played the first 4 Chapters on insane, working towards those achievements and Onyx Medals. Finished up with a round of beast (used the Kantus to work on the revieve/heal Medal, and then set myself back up to boost the night away. I should have Warzone and Skunker done in about 2-3 weeks at this pace.

New Onyx Medal Achieved - Battle Mistress

I got the Battle Mistress Medal tonight (third one completed!), meaning that I have played my 1,000th game as a female character. Not too hard of a Medal to get, but its just one more off of the plate on the way to Seriously 3.0. I have been mainly boosting 2 round warzones, so I can also knock out some Skunk Medal Progress. Not too much real play time today, as I worked and had some other stuff to do. The next couple days will be a little rough.

Also, I have been disconnecting from xbox live while away, and this has never really happened before. I wonder if this is Epics way of curbing these methods. Here is my updated progress.

Progressing Along.... Slowly.

Looks like in the last 4 days I have only moved around .25% towards completion of Seriously 3.0 I am going to not even play tonight and just let the private matches play out due to me feeling under the weather. Here is the most updated Spreadsheet.

Boosting Skunker, More Warzone, And Playing Beast Mode

So Yesterday, me and 3 Friends powered through Beast Mode on Insane, giving me my 2nd Onyx Medal!

After that, I played some Forza (I know, I know, that's not helping the Seriously 3.0 Cause!) And powered through some races.

Then while sleeping (about 9 or 10 hours) I Private Match boosted warzone, setting rounds to win from the normal one to two as an experiment. The idea was to see how often, or if, the bots on my team would win two times in a row. In about 120 games played last night, this happened 23 times. This method cuts the amount of games played about in half, but works on two Medals instead of one. I think this is worth it, and will just continue to use this two to win method until I get the Onyx skunker medal.

I have to go into work tonight 8pm - 1am So I am going to try and do some more beast mode work before I have to leave.

Boosting Private Match Execution Games

I did 7 hours worth of away from controller private match boosting while I slept last night and it yielded 172 games of execution played. This means that it will run about as many games that warzone does, about 24 games per hour. All of these of course were done with a female character, also working on battle mistress.

I am going to work on the unlimited ammo mutator today (build 5 things in a single horde match 100 times) so I an use that to help me beat all of the arcade chapters on insane. I will update the spreadsheet and post it sometime tonight.

Private Match Boosting Warzone

So today while away fro work (12 hours) I set warzone games to a 1 minute time limit, and ended up having 257 games played which is just over 21 games per hour. Because you can simulate these so much faster, I am going to play through the TDM's as much as possible (great for weapon kill counts) and Boost warzone from now until I have the Onyx Medal for it.

But for now, on to playing some horde mode (Working on waves played, money earned).

Boosting Team Death Match And Battle Mistress While Sleeping

So I did the whole "plug in a wired controller, start a private match and go to sleep" in team death match last night (Kills set to 10, which is the minimum, as well as bots to "fill"). I slept for about 6 hours, and it played 66 games for me. I attempted to leave something heavy on the A button, but that didn't lead my character into running into cover every game like I had hoped to work towards the Cover Onyx Medal. It did, however get me about 20 "Hard Target" ribbons, which is given for being the last player left on your team. So here is the "How Long Will It Take" Breakdown...

TDM 3000 Games needed, private matches away from xbox is about 6 per hour, it will take about 500 hours to boost this. Sounds like a ton, but add in private matches played to get kills and it is not too bad. I sleep for 6-8 hours and go to work for 9-10 hours a day, so I am looking at boosting this in about 34 days.

Battle Mistress Requires only 1000 games played as a female character, so when you apply the same match for TDM above this, you are looking at 170 hours or so. JUST ALWAYS PICK A FEMALE CHARACTER AND THIS MEDAL WILL COME WITH EASE.

Hard Target looks like I was getting that about 1/3 of the matches played, and it also requires 3000 for the Onyx Medal. This means it will take three times longer to boost than the TDM games played Medal, BUT you will also be able to get this while boosting the other games played medals (Execution, wingman, warzone). But you are looking at around 1,5000 hours to boos this away from controller.

Once I have attempted to boost every single medal, I will compile a spreadsheet or something with the total hours required for Seriously 3.0, but now its looking rough. (just 3000 games played of each type looks like a month minimum, so that's a half a year right there.

Boosting Onyx Medals

My definition of "boosting" is playing games against bots, or leaving your game unattended while you are asleep, at school or work, or generally just do not have the controller in your hand. I will be out lining how to maximize your time to work towards multiple Onyx Medals at once, and will tell you roughly how long each one is going to take. To me, Glitching and Hacking or modding are less honorable than boosting (even though "boosting" isnt playing agaisnt real people, but I honestly think no one will ever get Seriously 3.0 without boosting in some way, shape or form.

Tracking your Seriously 3.0

I have found this awesome too to help guide me and track where I am in terms of the Achievement. This spreadsheet will tell you all you how many of each thing you need to get an Onyx Medal. I have attached a screen shot of my current status, and will use these as weekly updates. I will write a detailed blog daily (or by daily or how ever long I am working on something) to tell you what is working on getting this thing done in the most timely manner.

And a link to the spread sheet on Google Docs if you want it (I found this on xbox360achievements.org)
Here is the Spreadsheet

Welcome To My Seriously 3.0 Achievement Blog!

This is going to be where I compile all of my "How To's", Statistics and every thing while I attempt to get what may be the hardest Xbox 360 Achievement ever! I will document different attempts at getting all of the Onyx Medals required to get the achievement.
